The most advanced Android emulator ever Bluestacks 3, is finally here!

Mobile games, specifically those for Android and iOS are becoming increasingly popular especially with the younger crowds and newer generations. Because of this we had an uprise of software’s and emulators that attempted to close the gap between is the mobile and PC/Console gamers. So far, there have been some pretty cool and stable emulators but none of them were actually flawless.

Now, with the Bluestacks 3, everything is about change.

BS3 is not only the most stable Android generator out there but also the one with the most numerous and user friendly features. Playing Android games on your PC has become easier than ever things to this amazing emulator. If you’ve used the previous version then you know just how easy it is to set up Bluestacks and make it run.

Unfortunately, you would probably know just how complicated and unstable the program can get when tinkering with its settings and trying to personalize controls and other aspects of the emulator.

The latest installment, the already famous Bluestacks 3, you can forget about all of those hardships this you have to suffer in the previous version.

Controls made easy:

Over the years, Bluestacks has grown as did its community. They’ve learned a lot from one another which can be seen from almost every aspect of the new emulator. For instance developers have realized that mobile gaming as well as its community has grown incomparably larger over the course of the last couple of years.

One of the major updates that we’ve got and certainly the one that the community was looking forward to the most is the implication of all different kinds of controls and input made available for the PC user.

The last versions of the emulator were the basic. They emulated swipes, touch and tap gestures but, that’s pretty much everything they did. Game required. Some games required points in different directions from two or more points at the same time. Although pinching was always unavailable gesture, the implementation of additional controlling schemes most certainly made our gaming on this emulator much more enjoyable.

If you were to play FPS game like Modern Combat on your Bluestacks emulator, all you would have to do is to open the control settings tab, pick your shooting cursor and place it in the middle of the screen. Additionally, you must position D-pad on top of your virtual analog if you want to. From this point on our it is only a matter of preference. You have to bind this is keys to specific actions after which you can jump straight into the action and play this touchscreen optimized first-person shooter game using your mouse and keyboard while sacrificing absolutely nothing.

To be completely honest with you, this is absolutely the best way to play it FPS Android games.

Easier than ever to find a new to play:

Bluestacks has always been connected with the Google Play services. The emulator requires of the users to connect with their Google Play accounts in order to be able to use the emulator. This did not change. Although you do not have to download games directly from the Google play and there is a possibility of installing an app to download from an external market, Google Play remains Bluestacks’s market of choice.

And that’s great. Not only will you get frequent suggestions and updates but the games that might interest you, you will also stay on track with the latest releases and the most popular games on the market at the time.

This the best way to discover games and find similar titles for the games that already like.

Despite everything, it is still free to use software!

That’s right. Not only are the games free to use but the software itself is absolutely free to download, install and use for as long as you like. And it’s not even ad heavy as you may think it is. Bluestacks 3 will only explain an advertisement every once in a while without bothering you too much with it. The best thing about it is that these ads don’t have to be viewed for a pre-determined amount of time, no. Is a simple pop-up which reminds you that there is a premium version of the emulator available for purchase which comes with its own benefits for those that are interested.

All in all is an amazing emulator not just for games but also everything that may be found on Android devices and Google Play market. If you are interested in that sort of things then we strongly suggest that you give this amazing emulator a try!

You don’t need a $200 Smartphone. Emulate and Play MyNBA2K18 on your PC!

In our previous post we talked to about the latest Android emulator for personal computers. It just so happens that this post is tightly connected with that one.

You probably already know that we like classic games. One of our all-time favorite game to pass the time has to be NBA2K.

Just recently, 2K Studios released their latest NBA2K for PC and consoles but also for mobile devices like tablets and smart phones.

Although you don’t get the full gameplay experience on the handheld devices, it is definitely one of the best spinoffs that you can get. Not to mention that this game is absolutely free to download and play for as long as you want without ever having to spend a single dollar on it. But it gets even better than this.

Playing MyNBA2K18 on your smartphone or tablet

If you happen to own NBA2K18 on either PC or one of the consoles, downloading and playing the MyNBA2K18 game on your handheld device will reward you in numerous ways.

For example, this game became rather restrictive lately. The developers became very greedy and decided to lock specific parts of the game behind a payment wall. This impacts the game in so many ways. In fact, is not even possible to max out your characters attributes and stats without having to spend a lot of your real money on the game. It is either that or you will have to spend a significant amount of time grinding for VC in order to get your character in top shape.

Of course, it is okay to ask money for the game that you’ve spent a lot of time working on but, asking for additional payments for a game that already costs almost $100 is absolutely ridiculous and shameful.

On the other hand, at least we are given a chance to earn the virtual currency that the game developers are trying to sell us. How do we do this? MyNBA2K18 has a couple of ways to reward the persistent players.

First of all, the game will reward you for every consecutive login day after day. This alone will make your VC balance increase steadily but constantly.

In addition to this, you may increase your VC balance by playing the game on your smart phone and performing well in general. There is some luck involved given that this is a card game revolving primarily around strategy and teambuilding rather than actual action gameplay.

Why are we telling you about this?

You’re probably thinking to yourself right now: “What does this have to do with emulators?”

Well, nothing really. Nothing until this point had anything to do with the emulators at least. The main reason for telling you about this is because it’s possible to emulate MyNBA2K18 using the previously mentioned Bluestacks Android emulator.

But why is this important? Well, there are couple of reasons actually.

#1 – Being able to play when you otherwise would not

The first and the most obvious one is that this is a perfect way for everyone not owning a smart phone or a tablet compatible with the game to run it anyway their powerful desktop or laptop computers.

But let’s not stop there. It is well-known that NBA2K is not available in every country. Mobile app is even more restrictive than the PC/console release. It could be harder to get the game in some countries compared to others. However, there are those regions that are completely excluded and gamers who happen to live there will have no way to download the game through the official page. However Bluestacks 3 can be used to install .apk file downloaded from unofficial sites and fully enjoy the game as you normally would.

#2 – Enhanced gameplay experience

The second reason is a matter of performance. In most cases, a lightweight game as this one will perform incomparably better on a strong desktop or laptop computer. This means shorter loading and response times, better graphics, bigger display and overall better performance all of which contribute to the players experience.

#3 – The possibility of modifying the game to your benefit

The third reason is the one that most of you will be interested in and that is free VC. As we have mentioned before, simply by playing this game you get to earn some extra VC. Emulating the game on PC opens up a whole new level of possibilities. It is much easier to manipulate the game when you have access to all PC functions. This is a perfect opportunity for everyone not willing to directly hack VC for NBA2K18 to still get some of the juice. There are numerous ways to get free VC and even hack locker codes with different hacks and online tools like code generator at, but for those of you who want to push it to the limit and explore the possibilities, playing the game through PC is the way to go.

Top 3 PSX Games to Play

Sony PlayStation’s original system had many great games. If you never had an opportunity to enjoy everything this great system had to offer to us, it is not too late yet. Using an PSX emulator  you may fully experience all the glory that Sony PlayStation had to offer back back in its days. Don’t be fooled, while they might be old, these games are not bad by any means and once you adjust your eyes to graphics of yesterday you will have no problem enjoying these masterpieces. Without further ado here are top 3 PSX games for you to play.

#3Resident Evil 3

If you’ve never played Resident Evil game prepare yourself to enter a world of horror. If you’ve played some of the recently released entries, you’re in for a surprise. This game is nothing like a modern fast-paced zombie shooter and all the Resident Evil games prior to 4th were terrifying and very much focused on the element of horror and survival while modern entries are focusing on the action parts. And while all the games from the original trilogy are great in their own way we prefer RE3 simply because when you look at the gameplay alone, this one is simply the best and it does so while maintaining all of the great aspects of its predecessors.

#2Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver

Adventure masterpiece. This is a game that every gamer who values great storytelling combined with some very good gameplay should care about. Enter the world of Nosgoth where humans and vampires are battling for supremacy and survival. Follow the story of Raziel, once proud and powerful vampire reduced to a soul sucking fiend as he seeks vengeance against those who made him what he is. Prepare for open world adventure with semi-dynamic progression and the story so complex and detailed that you will be spending hours thinking about it. This is truly a timeless classic game that will stay with you for a very long time after you’ve played it.

While this game has a PC release, it is rather unstable on a modern systems and we recommend playing it through an emulator instead.

#1Metal Gear Solid

Chances are that you’re familiar with the name “Metal Gear Solid” by now since games final chapter has been closed (yes we’re aware of the “Survive” game but we all agree that it’s not and will never be a game worthy of MGS title). This is a game that pretty much invented the whole stealth genre. It is also the very first game to utilize cinematic cut-scenes. This gem blew our minds back in 1998 with its incredible 3D graphics, advanced storytelling never before seen in a video game, lovable and lifelike characters and amazing stealth gameplay that was so very much ahead of its time. If you never had a chance to play this masterpiece, we urge you to do so even if you’ve played The Phantom Pain, this game will without a doubt blow your mind on such a grand scale you know what hit you, and that’s a promise! After all, this is a Hideo Kojima game!

Game is also available on GameCube which you can emulate using Dolphin Emulator but we recommend the original over remake but the choice is up to you.

Top 3 PS2 Games of All Time

Sunny PlayStation 2 had so many cool games that picking only 3 is going to be an extremely difficult task. We’re going to be facing some tough decisions and will have to disregard many great games in order to keep this list with only 3 games on it. PlayStation 2 has left its mark on many generation of gamers and those who were lucky enough to play those games back then are undoubtedly appreciating and cheering every memory of it. If you had no such luck or perhaps love to relive some of those memories, you may use PS2 emulator  for your PC and play those games directly on your computer. So many good titles yet we are going to pick only 3 so, let’s start.

#3Shadow of the Colossus

An adventure game like nothing you’ve ever seen. Even today, years after its release nobody ever dared to try and make something remotely spectacular and avant-garde as this game. Your roaming vast, empty world filled with beautiful vistas and pretty much no life except for some trees, birds and small, hardened reptiles with yummy tails. Your quest is pretty straightforward but still a mysterious one. Your hunting colossi, ancient beings, guardians of some kind and are to slay them in order to resurrect a dying girl. Time is of the essence for you are being chased by members of some kind of order for trying to stop you before you slay the colossi. Is it even possible to slay them and if so, how does one so tiny kill something as colossal? Grab the game and find out yourself, you won’t regret it.

#2 Ōkami

If there’s a game which stands out from the rest of the crowd with its gameplay and art style, it has to be Ōkami. This beautiful game looks like traditional 17th century Japanese paintings. You play as a white wolf, an avatar of great goddess Amaterasu using a very specific game of panic called celestial brush to save the world from chaos. The game is story driven action-adventure very unique feature, the celestial brush. The brush allows you to literally paint on your screen and watch your drawings come to life. You are to use this and many other techniques to overcome any hardships you may encounter throughout your journey. If you value unique, creative and artistic approach to video games, this is something that should be on your list.

#3Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence

We are risking sounding like fan boys now after picking another Metal Gear Solid title as the best game on an entire system but regardless of what anybody may think about our pick and reasons behind it, this game absolutely justifies its place on the number 1 spot of this list.

This right here is art. This game, this entire game is art. It’s art regarding storytelling, it is art regarding gameplay and those graphics are definitely artistic as hell! If you owned PlayStation 2 and never played this absolute masterpiece, you’ve made some poor decisions in your life. If you’ve never owned the system, you absolutely have to emulate this game and experience everything it has to offer. Words are not enough to describe how good this game is. Arguably it is the best Metal Gear Solid game to this date and you know what, we hardly back that argument up!

Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection HD is available through PlayStation network for PlayStation 3 and 4 and if you own any of the systems, do not hesitate. Get that, play it, love it and remember it for the rest of your life.

It is complex to emulate and may misbehave depending on your hardware combination but it is generally playable on every medium ranged computer. PCX2 does a great job emulating this game, just make sure you’ve selected the right plug-ins and configured the settings accordingly to your systems capabilities. We strongly recommend consulting some online guides to get the best emulation experience from this game. It is 1000% worth it!

Top Emulators for PC #3

So far we have covered four great emulators all for different systems and generations there are more to discover. If you have missed or are unaware of our previous articles about emulators you may use these links to read about emulators for:

Chances are you’re not a fan of handheld gaming if you’re into emulators. And that’s for a valid reason. Handheld gaming has a reputation of being inferior and “casual”, whatever that means. If this is the case, then chances are that you probably have never played a game on a PlayStation portable or PSP for short. Those of us who have no just how fun and good it can be. This emulator is great program to use if you’re looking for some PSP gaming. Running pretty much every game flawlessly and allowing for custom resolutions, extra key binds and macros as well as quick saving (if you’re looking for that kind of stuff), then this one is the emulator for you. Games like Final Fantasy: Dissidia and Crisis Core (prequel to critically acclaimed Final Fantasy VII), Persona titles, Daxter, Patapon, God of War: Chains of Olympus and of course, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker are reason enough for you to get this amazing emulator.

But it gets even better. This emulator will allow you to play multiplayer and co-op games online with your friends through stimulated network. All you need to do is set your IP to match the other person’s IP and before you know it you can have some one-on-one rival gaming or play some games with up to 3 friends in co-op. The feature is still in beta yet all the testing conducted testifies that it’s ready to use. If you’ve never get a chance to play PlayStation portable before, now would be a pretty good time.

#6 – BlueStacks

Nope, it’s not another Nintendo emulator. While there are great Nintendo handheld emulators, decided to break the pattern and future an Android emulator instead. Now it’s not just about the pattern, BlueStacks has every right to be on this list. This is a perfect Android emulator for PC. Whether it’s about gaming or one of many other awesome Android applications, BlueStacks will run them all. This is truly a work of art as it enables you to have identical experience as Android users have on their devices from the comfort of your desktop or laptop.

And it truly is an identical experience since you can even create an account and become an active part of Android community using this program. Now obviously unless you have a GPS, camera and gyroscope on your PC not all of the features will be available to you but, you can still get in play games that are unplayable on PC by any different means. You may also use it to read books on a big screen and run apps at a custom resolution without actually feeling the impact on your device as you would if you were to use an actual Android device. You can also use it to play games online with your friends that are using either the emulator or playing on actual Android devices.

Now if you’re thinking about actually buying an Android device this way you may try applications first and determine what kind of device will suit you best. If you want to be extra weird you may even emulate Android through BlueStacks and use one of its emulators from Google store to emulate different systems through an emulator. Emulatorception!

Top Emulators for PC #2

We’ve decided to split this post in a couple of parts so we can cover everything in between the two in case we need to. If you’ve missed our previous post on this subject, you may check it out.

We have introduced you to ePSXe in our previous post we hope the information was useful and helpful one. Many people love PlayStation classics and ePSXe is a way to go if you’re looking for a way to relive some of those or perhaps play them for the first time. But the glory of PlayStation doesn’t end with its original system, no. PlayStation 2 made quite a name for itself while simultaneously shaping the future of games and gamers across the world setting standards for numerous videogame genres for years to come. There are many reasons to love this great system and its games one of them being incredibly lifelike visual capabilities for its time on top of countless incredible games to choose from. From genre redefining titles like Resident Evil 4 to some of the most memorable adventure games like Shadow Of the Colossus to hardcore games like Devil May Cry. As it’s written on product packing, there is indeed “something for everyone on PS2” and once again, there is no better way to experience any of those than through PCSX2.

However, keep in mind that PlayStation 2 is an incredibly complex system to emulate even today. If the game is not properly functioning for you, don’t give up and disregard it but search for a valid solution online. Many emulating communities have already figured out the exact plug-in combinations and settings to use for perfect game experience yet, bear in mind that these settings may not work depending on your system and hardware configuration so we advise you to play with the settings yourself if everything else fails to give proper results.

#4Dolphin Emulator

Once again, Sony/Nintendo combo post. Don’t act surprised like you never saw it coming. It is very obvious that Dolphin deserves a spot on this list. Not only will this program emulate your Nintendo GameCube games, it will also allow you to play Nintendo Wii titles as well. While GameCube was not as received as PlayStation 2 that never stopped GC developers from giving us some of the best games in like forever. With this here emulator you can play titles like original NBA 2K that spawned an incredible sports franchise that we have today. It was even better back in the day when you didn’t have to worry about all the VC bullshit and how to get free Virtual Currency. It is also a system that was blessed with the Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes, remake of a wonderful game that defined and pretty much invented stealth as a genre as well as a remake of the original Resident Evil. It goes without saying that you can play all Nintendo’s classics like Metroid, Super Mario and Donkey Kong with this program and it emulates these exclusive titles pretty much perfectly.

Top Emulators for PC

There comes a time in every gamers life when we get that nostalgia surge and are overwhelmed by the insatiable urge to just play a game from our childhood or one that we haven’t played in a while. We have all been there and we all know how fulfilling that moment when we start the game we played a long time ago can be. But what happens when the system we used to play the game is not available anymore? Maybe it stopped working or broke? Maybe you sold it to cover some expenses, or gave it away to your young nephew thinking you’re done with it and will never play it again. How young, inexperienced and wrong were you…

Luckily for us, we have emulators. Many of them are not perfect and some are clearly much better than the rest to a point where they will run almost every game with little to no glitches and problems. From our experience, there is no such thing as a perfect emulator but, if you ever get a case of nostalgia for a certain game, depending on the games original system, these are the emulators that are most likely to give you the best possible performance and provide for the most pleasurable experience possible.

#1 ePSXe

This is, without a doubt the THE emulator. There’s a fair chance that some of your favorite childhood games are from the original PlayStation system. In fact, we believe that some of the greatest video games were made for the system exactly. The original PlayStation system or “PSX” as it’s been referred to nowadays is a system that houses so many exceptional video game titles like the first ever 3D Final Fantasy which set standards for future jRPG and Final Fantasy games. Games like Silent Hill and Resident Evil series which gave birth to survival horror genre and greatly influenced the industry, making it what it is today. The list can go on and on if we were to mention every influential and successful PlayStation game like Metal Gear Solid, Tomb Raider, Need for Speed, Syphon Filter, Tenchu, Chrono Cross, Spyro, Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, Crash Bandicoot and many, many, many more. This list could truly be a lengthy one if we were to name and credit every influential title from this great system.

Another great entertainment system was of course the one and only, Nintendo 64. It was the first 64-bit system ever created for personal home use. With that being said, of course that Nintendo wanted to promote and show off with its incredible possibilities for that time. 3D graphics and models in a fully three-dimensional real-time rendered worlds were as good as it gets when Nintendo 64 was around. How many of us grew up playing The Legend of Zelda and are absolutely blown away when we saw Ocarina of Time for the first time on N64 back in the day? Boy, those were some precious moments. Or what about Goldeneye? It’s a game so popular and loved that it recently got remade completely in Source engine by fans alone. Those of you who played the original game will understand how that game earned such a fan base in the first place, and those of you who played the remade version recently will undoubtedly realize why the game was such a huge thing back in it’s day. Just like the original PlayStation system Nintendo 64 is housing insane a number of classics and there is no time or point in trying to cover every single one of them. Best thing to do is to try it for yourself and there is no better way to do that than through Project64.

 More PC Emulators…

Smartphone and Tablet Emulators

Smart phones and tablets have become everyday parts of our lives. Nearly everyone owns at least one of these devices and most of us are constantly carrying one of them around with us. There is of course great benefit to owning such a device, from staying in touch with your friends and colleagues to providing Internet access nearly everywhere on the planet at any given time. But none of that is actually very important to us, what we care about is gaming! So, how does one enrich his gaming habit with a smart phone or tablet? Not like there are not numerous titles for these devices but, would it be able if we can run some “real” games on those? Fortunately for us, now we can with some help from these awesome smart phone and tablet emulators. There a couple of noteworthy ones that we will cover right here, right now.

This amazing emulator seems to be absolutely everywhere. You probably already have it on your PC but maybe it’s time you take your games elsewhere like, to a nearby park perhaps? ePSXe is available to Android users on Google Play at a price of US$3.36 and boy, is it a bargain!

If you haven’t heard about this emulator gem to this point, you must’ve been living under a rock. It exists and has been popular for as long as we can remember and it has more than earned its name and reputation amongst emulators for personal computers. Android version is no different. It runs smooth in pretty much every game and is very lightweight and performance friendly. The only off thing about it is awkward button layout that you can tweak but it will never be as good and as intuitive as a real controller or even a keyboard but nevertheless, this great app gets the job done and lets you play all those great Sony PlayStation titles on the go and where ever you are. Absolutely a must-have for every Sony PlayStation nostalgic gamer.

This pure awesomeness of an emulator is available for Android, iOS and Symbian devices. Now you can once again reignite the embers between yourself and your beloved PSP. Whether your PSP is impractical, bulky, malfunctioning or you simply lack sufficient storage space to carry all your games around with you, PPSSPP is here to help you. You’re probably familiar with this one if you’re emulating games on your PC but having a handheld console emulator for a handheld device feels right as rain. The best thing about this is that it’s completely free but you may choose to support the developers if you are satisfied with the product. We wholeheartedly encourage you to do so if you can because something like this deserves support and respect from gamers all around the world.

#3 – MegaN64

As you may have probably figured out from its name this is a Nintendo 64 emulator for Android. Apparently this one is based on Mupen64 (an open source project) but features a couple of additional tweaks to make it run better on Android devices. It works for most parts and you will rarely encounter problems with your games but know that it’s not perfect. You will have no trouble playing Legend of Zelda whatsoever, since that is pretty much why most people downloaded it for. It is also completely free and you may download it right now from the Google Play store.

Hopefully these emulators will help you with what you’re looking for. It is good knowing that you don’t have to leave all of your games at home once you leave. This way all of them can follow you wherever you go that is, for as long as you have enough storage space.
