Trouble shooting
There is a known mysterious "EAccess Violation" problem, although very rare. Sometimes it has some relation to FAT32, installing Corn on a FAT16 disk may or may not solve this problem. If you encounter this problem, please report to contrasf@emuhq.com with your OS, CPU, system configuration and anything you think worth to mention. Thank you.
If you are using Voodoo/Voodoo2, be sure to check "Voodoo/Voodoo2" in Misc menu. Otherwise, your primary video card will be used.
Only audio ucode 0 is implemented. Games using other ucodes will crash even for games marked as "playable". When trying a new rom, it's better to leave "Sound Emu" unchecked. BTW, sound emulation takes lots of CPU time. It's normal to encounter sound stutter, big noise and echos on slow systems.
2D demos no longer work.
SaveStates are stored in EEPROM directory. Corn ONLY does the saving during its NORMAL exit. So, if you exit by ctrl-alt-del, nothing would be saved. It works as in real N64, after you beat a boss or at some special point, you can save the state to the EEPROM which is emulated as a file in /EEPROM directory.
If you got a crash, setting your desktop to 16bit color may be helpful.
