Playstation 2 Emulators

PCSX2 is a Playstation 2 emulator for Windows and Linux (in progress). PCSX2 has a very good game compatibility. PCSX2 is multi-language, currently supports English (default), German, Dutch, Greek, Spanish, French, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese (Traditional and Simplified), Swedish and Turkish. There are no official requirements, but you will need a very fast PC, we recommend at least a Pentium 4, 512MB RAM and Windows XP. PCSX2 is the best Playstation 2 emulator, highly recommended.

Recommendation for Pentium D owners:

If you own a Pentium D, go to Config -> CPU and check Multi threaded GS mode (MTGS) and Dual Core Mode (DC) for better performance

nSX2 (NeutrinoSx2) is a Playstation 2 emulator for Windows, Linux and BeOS, source code is available so you can port it to other systems. nSX2 is multi language, supports English, French, Portuguese, Russian, Dutch, German, Spanish and Greek. You will need at least a Pentium 4, 512MB RAM and DirectX 9 (Windows version) to run nSX2. It only run demos, no commercial games.

PS2EMU is a Playstation 2 emulator for Windows. PS2EMU runs only demos. You will need a really fast CPU to run PS2EMU, tests were made with a Pentium D reaching only 28 fps, you will also need DirectX 9 to run PS2EMU.
