Playstation Emulators

ePSXe is a Playstation emulator for Windows and Linux. ePSXe is regarded as the best playstation emulator. You will need at least a Pentium 200 MHz MMX, 64 MB RAM and DirectX 7 (Windows version) to run ePSXe, but a Pentium II 500 MHz, 256 MB RAM and DirectX 8 (Windows version) is recommended.

Notes

ePSXe needs the PSX bios, Google it. After download, unzip it and place the file SCPH1001.BIN in the bios folder of the ePSXe installation.

pSX is a Playstation emulator for Windows. pSX has an impressive game compatibility. pSX is multilanguage, currently supports English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) and many more. pSx is very easy to use, you will only need to configure the Joystick and you are done. You will need Direct X 9.0c and D3DX download from Microsoft to run pSX .

PSXeven is a Playstation emulator for Windows. PSXeven has a good compatibility list and fast very emulation speed.

AdriPSX is a Playstation emulator for Windows. AdriPSX is multilanguage, currently supports English (default), French, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, and many more, you can even create your own if your language is not supported. You will need at least a Pentium MMX, 32 MB RAM and DirectX 7 to run AdriPSX. AdriPSX runs on any Windows starting from Windows 95.

Pcsx is an open source Playstation emulator for Windows and Linux. Pcsx is multilanguage, currently supports only English and Italian. Pcsx has an internal HLE BIOS you can use, if it doesn't work with a specific game download the PSX BIOS and put it in the bios folder of the Pcsx installation.

SSSPSX is a Playstation emulator for Windows. SSSPSX is a very simple and strait forward emulator with very few options. You will need at least a 800 MHz CPU and 256MB RAM to run SSSPSX.
